Around Daisetsuzan 7 Day Cycling Tour 2025

Posted

Guests from Australia and Singapore joined us on our Around Daisetsuzan 7 Day Cycling Tour in July 2025, enjoying the very best of Hokkaido’s early summer scenery and pleasant weather. Taking a grand loop around the outskirts of Daisetsuzan National Park from Shirogane Onsen to Asahikawa, the gang were treated to all the delights the region had to offer… and we don’t just mean lavender ice cream!

Thank you as always to our guests for taking part! We’d also like to give a special thanks to Cycling Japan, with whom we partnered in running this tour, and their guides Chamika and Shogo who made sure our guests had an incredible time on their cycling adventure.

A group of seven cyclists take a selfie in front of Shirahige Waterfall. They are all smiling and looking excited. They wear cycling gear and helmets.
We set off from Shirogane Onsen. There's always time for a quick photo stop at Shirahige Waterfall before we set off.
A group of cyclists smile in front of a sign reading "Farm Tomita". A flower meadow full of tourists is visible behind them.
We swung past Farm Tomita, Furano's popular lavender farm, on this trip.
A group of cyclists pose in front of a sign reading "Daisetsuzan National Park - Mikuni Pass" in Japanese. They are all smiling at the camera. It is a partially-cloudy day.
This photo at the top of Mikuni Pass is a well-earned memory!
